How to Update the Omni One Headset’s Streaming App

This page is ONLY intended for users whose headset streaming app is version 1.0.0. Please proceed with Downloading the Streaming Desktop App unless you were directed here.

The PC streaming app v1.2.11 works with the headset app v1.2.9. Before installing v1.2.9 of the Business Streaming app on the Omni One headset, you should uninstall v1.0.0 of the desktop app, if you have it on your computer. To do so, press the Windows key, type ‘Business Streaming’ and select ‘Uninstall’ for this app.

Connect the headset to your PC via the USB-C port on the headset. It should appear as a connected device in your Windows navigation menu, if it is powered on. If it does not, try a different USB port / cable.

Step 3: Install the new version of Business Streaming for your headset.

Step 4: Install the Business Streaming Desktop App.

Exiting SteamVR may require Steam to be restarted before you can stream again (you must exit SteamVR to return to the Omni menu).

Calibration needs to be performed using the recenter icon in the SteamVR overlay before you play.

Depending on your headset model it may not be possible to access the Omni menu once the headset connects to SteamVR. If so, ensure that you've performed your boundary setup in the headset before connecting to SteamVR.
