How to Pair Foot Trackers with Quest

1. Prepare the Foot Trackers:

Ensure your foot trackers are charged. Connect the charging cable to the trackers and plug it into a power source.

 

2. Power On the Foot Trackers:

Turn on the Foot Trackers using the On/Off Switch on the underside. The trackers should now connect to your Omni One automatically when you lock them into the cradles of the Overshoes. If they do not, continue with pairing as described below. The trackers will go into standby mode after a few minutes of inactivity - simply move the trackers to wake them up.

 

3. Enter Pairing Mode on the Base:

Press and hold the Sync Button on the side of Omni One’s base for more than one second. Omni One will enter pairing mode, and the LED will start to fast-flash green.

 

4. Activate Pairing Mode:

Press and hold the Sync Button on the underside of each Foot Tracker for more than one second to put them in pairing mode.

5. Complete the Pairing Process:

  • The foot trackers will automatically search for and pair with the Omni One base. Once paired, the LED on each foot tracker will display a steady green light, indicating a successful connection.
  • Check the LED indicators on both the foot trackers and the Omni One base to ensure they are showing a steady green light - Omni Connect on your Quest or PC must connect to your Omni for the base LED to become steady green.

 

Below are the possible states indicated by the Foot Tracker LEDs:

steady green.png Steady Green
The Foot Tracker is on and paired to Omni One. The Foot Tracker will begin functioning when inserted into the overshoe cradle.
slow green.png Slow Flashing Green 
The Foot Tracker is on but not paired to Omni One.
fast green.png Fast Flashing Green
The Foot Tracker’s Sync Button has been pressed, and it has entered pairing mode.
fast slow green.png Fast then Slow Flashing Green
The Foot Tracker is on and a firmware update is in progress (do not turn off the Foot Tracker or Omni One until the update is complete).
slow red.png Slow Flashing Red
The Foot Tracker’s battery is below 20% and needs to be charged.
steady green.png Steady Green while Connected to the Charger
The Foot Tracker has finished charging.
steady red.png Steady Red while Connected to the Charger
The Foot Tracker is charging.
steady red.png Steady Red while not Connected to the Charger
