Supported Meta games can be launched from your Meta library. Omni movement should work provided you have run Omni Connect and then calibrated after the game has loaded and you are ready to move.
However, movement may also be affected by the game's settings, so it's recommended to launch the game via Omni Connect, which will display any game settings you may need to adjust.
To do this, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the Games tab:
In Omni Connect, select the Games page and then scroll down to find the game you wish to play.
2. Launch the game:
Select Play to launch the game. If the game is not installed, follow the store prompts to install it.
If the game requires any movement related settings to be changed, Omni Connect will display these. Remember to apply any changes once you reach the game's settings menu.
Do not close Omni Connect while the game is running.
You can come back to Omni Connect and review any Game Instructions via the button that will be visible in the Now Playing section on the Home page, if the game has necessary instructions.
3. Calibrate movement:
Once the game has finished loading and you are ready to move, while keeping your head and body facing the same direction, calibrate the Omni by clicking the shoulder button once (do not hold the button, as that will lock or unlock the arm). Calibrate again whenever you put the headset back on, start a new game, or notice that the movement direction is wrong.
Important:
- Don't forget to calibrate in Omni Connect after the game has finished loading and you are ready to move
- Make sure you leave the Omni Connect application running while you play the game
- If movement direction is not correctly in-line with your body (this can happen if you remove the headset temporarily), you should calibrate again with Omni Connect
