Regular cleaning of your Omni One ensures it operates smoothly and remains in excellent condition. Follow these instructions to properly clean your Omni One system:
General Cleaning
Before Each Use:Remove dust from the Omni One base using the included dusting towel. | Monthly Deep Cleaning:If Omni One becomes dirty through (for example) contact with pets, deep clean with warm water and allow to dry. |
Detailed Cleaning Instructions:
Applying EASY-WALK™:
- Once a month (more often with heavy usage), apply the EASY-WALK™ solution to maintain the base's low-friction.
- First, remove any loose dust with the dusting towel.
- Apply one squirt only of EASY-WALK™ directly to the base - more than this can cause the overshoe material to absorb the EASY-WALK™, impairing its function.
- Spread this over the Omni One base evenly with the cleaning pad.
- Ensure that the base is completely dry before using the Omni One.
Vest Cleaning:
- Spot clean the vest with a damp cloth.
Headset and Controllers:
- Use the lens cleaning cloth to gently clean the headset lenses.
- Wipe down the exterior of the headset and controllers with a damp cloth, ensuring no moisture enters any openings or ports.
- Use disinfectant wipes to sanitize the face padding and controller grips.
Foot Trackers and Overshoes:
- Remove dust from the exterior of the foot trackers and overshoes with a dry cloth.
- If the bottoms of the overshoes become dirty, wipe the dirt away with a damp cloth and allow to dry.
- Ensure the anti-slip pads are free from dirt and debris.
