How to Disassemble Your Omni One

1. Power Down and Unplug:

  • Ensure that your Omni One is powered down.
  • Unplug the power cable from the wall socket and the Omni One base.

2. Remove the Vest:

  • Remove the controllers from the holsters.
  • Unclip the shoulder button from the loop on the left shoulder strap.
  • Detach the cable routed through the rubber clips on the vest.
  • Fully remove the vest from the locking mechanism by pulling the
    release lever and lifting up the vest.

3. Disconnect the Arm:

  • Lower the arm to its lowest setting before removing it.
  • Release the top clamp at the base of the arm
  • Carefully lift the arm from the arm hub.

Rest the arm on the floor and disconnect the cable by turning the knurled fitting
counterclockwise and then pulling the cable out.

You MUST unplug Omni One's power adapter before disconnecting the arm cable. If you disconnect the arm cable while Omni One is powered on, you might damage sensitive components and void the warranty.

4. Disassemble the Base:

  • If you want to remove the step, raise the lid, locate the two pins in the back corners of the
    main compartment
  • Press the lock pins inward with your fingers and slide the step away from the base.

The front of the step can be used as a handle to raise the base and wheel it into a new position. Use safe lifting techniques when doing so.
