1. Unlock the Upper Arm:
The vest is held in an upright position by a locked arm hinge. As you put on the vest, you should hear a click as the hinge unlocks. If you don't hear it, finish securing the vest, then tilt your upper body back slightly until you hear the hinge click.
2. Locate the Shoulder Button:
The shoulder button is located on the left shoulder strap of the Omni One vest. This button is used to fully unlock the support arm, allowing crouching and turning.
3. Press the Shoulder Button:
Press the shoulder button on your left shoulder strap. You should hear another click as you press it. This action will unlock the support arm and allow you to crouch and turn freely.
4. Verify the Unlock:
Gently turn to ensure the support arm is unlocked and you can move without restriction.
Important:
- Always double-check that the support arm is securely locked before boarding or exiting the Omni.
- Remember to unlock the support arm once you are strapped in and ready to play.
- Before exiting, press the shoulder button to enable the arm lock, then turn until the arm locks into place in its starting position.
- Remember to engage the anti-slip feature of the overshoes before unfastening the vest and exiting.
- Do not attempt to hang in the vest in the locked position - it is not designed to suspend you in the air.
- If you experience any issues with the arm locking mechanism, consult the Omni One manual or contact Virtuix support for further assistance.
Bundled Omni One headset only:
- The support arm will automatically enable the lock when you remove your headset. If you are ending your game session, turn until the arm locks into place in its starting position.
