Overview
Omni One isn’t just a standalone VR system—it’s also compatible with PCVR platforms like SteamVR, giving you access to a massive library of immersive games. If you own a PC VR headset (such as those from Meta, HTC, or Pico) or have your Omni One headset and want to use Omni One to walk, run, and move naturally in your favorite PC titles, this guide is your starting point.

Step 1: Check Hardware Requirements
Before getting started, make sure your PC and hardware meet the minimum requirements for a smooth experience with Omni One and SteamVR.

Step 2: Install Required Software
Using Omni One with SteamVR requires two pieces of software:
-
Omni Connect – the PCVR driver that connects Omni One to your PC via Bluetooth and translates your physical movement into in-game input.
-
Streaming Software – allows you to wirelessly stream PCVR games from your computer to your headset (e.g., Pico Connect, Steam Link, or Virtual Desktop).
Step 3: Use Omni One with SteamVR
With Omni Connect and your streaming software running, just connect to your headset via the streaming app on your headset, and if your game is officially supported, all you have to do is adjust some in-game settings and calibrate once using SteamVR!
